I know Banyule well having lived and studied in the local area most of my life. I live with my wife and family in the Dunvegan estate in Macleod/Watsonia. I attended Loyola Secondary College and was an active member of the Diamond Valley Eagles Basketball Association. I continue to support a range of local community groups including Banyule Community Health Centre and the Watsonia RSL.
I currently work as the Finance Director for a large metropolitan health service where I apply my qualifications in finance, accounting and economics. Prior to this, I worked as a management consultant for an international accounting firm where I provided financial and strategic advice to large public and private organisations. I bring a solid understanding of the workings of government through previous work with the Victorian Government and the Federal Government in a strategic policy role.
I draw on my financial experience to ensure sound management of Council programs to maintain and deliver quality local services and infrastructure while minimising rate increases.
